Before you embark on your e-bike adventure with Ele Bike Rentals in Gulfport, Florida, please take a moment to review our rental agreement. We want to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience!
Rental Agreement: Terms & conditions
At Golf Cart Service Center Inc. d/b/a Ele Bike Rentals, we want to ensure your ride is smooth and safe. Please acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- E-bikes/scooters are rented clean and in proper working order; return them the same way.
- Helmets are included. Florida law requires helmets for those under 16.
- E-bikes are not permitted on the beach. A $500 fine will be applied for violations.
- Late Fee: $35 per 10 minutes.
- Check your bike before riding. Report any issues immediately.
Return the bike in clean, undamaged condition to avoid extra charges. You are responsible for the equipment's care during possession. Damaged parts will be repaired/replaced at your expense. Late returns are subject to fees.
Financial Responsibility & Damage
Customer agrees to provide Ele Bike Rentals with credit card details for potential damage costs. You authorize Ele Bike Rentals to charge the credit card on file for damages during your rental, including labor. In case of theft, you are responsible for reimbursing Ele Bike Rentals for the e-bike/scooter's original price, plus accessories.
Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Release agreement
Understand that e-bike/scooter rentals involve risks, including potential injury, death, or property damage. You should be in good physical health to participate. By renting, you assume all risks. Ele Bike Rentals is released from liability for injury, illness, death, or loss of property, even if caused by negligence.
- Wearing a helmet is crucial. Florida law mandates helmets for those under 16.
- This activity can result in severe injury.
- Hazards exist due to traffic, road conditions, and other bicycles.
- Bicycles may lack visibility enhancements.
- Riding requires good physical condition and expertise. You confirm possessing adequate skills.
To rent, you'll provide a driver’s license or valid ID and a credit card. You agree to compensate Ele Bike Rentals with $1000.00 for each e-bike in case of damage or loss.
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Ele Bike Rentals for any third-party liability resulting from your use of the equipment.
By signing for a minor, you confirm you are their parent/legal guardian and release Ele Bike Rentals from claims related to the minor.
